Minister of Defense of Sanaa Enters a Dangerous Location Without Prior Warning

In a blatant challenge, Sanaa’s leaders continue to disregard Israeli threats of assassination, dismissing them as “open cards” in a failed psychological warfare strategy.
This was clearly evident when Sanaa’s Minister of Defense, Mohammad Al-Atifi, appeared on Friday afternoon in the middle of Sabeen Square during a mass gathering in response to a call by Houthi leader (Ansar Allah) Abdul-Malik Al-Houthi to protest against Trump’s plan to displace Palestinians from the Gaza Strip.
The Minister of Defense of the Sanaa government, Mohammad Al-Atifi, issued a stern warning to the United States and Israel about the consequences of carrying out any plans targeting the displacement of the Palestinian people, emphasizing that Sanaa’s forces would not hesitate to launch painful military strikes against Israel and US interests in defense of Gaza.
In his speech to the crowd, he stated: “We reaffirm our steadfast position and the promise we made to the Palestinian people through our leader that we are with you and by your side in confronting all conspiracies. We will not abandon the Palestinian people, no matter the cost, relying on Allah and confident in His promise.”
These statements come amid escalating US-Israeli threats to continue their aggression against Gaza and pressure to implement plans for the forced displacement of Gaza’s residents.
They also reflect Sanaa’s clear strategy of linking the security of the entire region to defending the Palestinian cause, demonstrating the political and military superiority of the Houthis (Ansar Allah) in confronting international alliances led by the United States, as well as Sanaa’s ability to turn rhetoric into impactful field actions through targeted military strikes.
