Earthquakes continue to strike various Yemeni governorates with varying magnitudes. While not considered dangerous, they remain a concerning sign for the population.
The Dhamar Earthquake and Volcano Monitoring Center reported two consecutive tremors in the Hizam Al-Adin district of Ibb Governorate in the past few hours.
The center explained that the epicenter of the tremors was located 8 kilometers west of Hizam Al-Adin district. The first tremor measured 2.9 on the Richter scale and occurred at 1:29 AM, while the second tremor measured 2.8 and took place at 1:43 AM.
The center confirmed that both tremors were minor, and no human or material damage was reported, noting that seismic activity in the region continues to be monitored.
Several Yemeni governorates have experienced a series of aftershocks and tremors in recent days, raising concerns among the population about the potential for stronger earthquakes.
