The Ministry of Civil Service and Insurance in the temporary capital, Aden, has revealed lists containing the names of employees in the civil sector who were found to have duplicate or overlapping employment records with those working in the military and security sectors.
In a statement issued today, the ministry explained that these employees failed to appear for the verification and status-correction procedures within the specified period. It confirmed that this step is part of a reform program aimed at addressing job duplication and regulating the government payroll system.
The ministry added that it will suspend the salaries of all individuals found to have duplicate or conflicting employment records who have not completed the verification procedures or submitted their resignations, starting from the current month of November.
