U.S. warplanes continued their aggressive air campaign on Tuesday night and early Wednesday, launching a series of strikes on several Yemeni provinces as part of the ongoing military escalation that began in mid-March.
In Taiz Governorate, American aircraft carried out four airstrikes targeting the telecommunications network in the Al-Barh area of Maqbanah District, resulting in significant destruction of infrastructure and widespread service outages.
In Marib, three airstrikes struck Majzar District, completely destroying the telecommunications network. Meanwhile, four airstrikes hit residential areas in Al-Salim District of Saada Governorate; the extent of human and material losses has not yet been disclosed.
Along the western coast, U.S. aircraft launched four additional strikes on Hodeidah International Airport and Al-Salif District, in what appeared to be a deliberate attempt to disable vital facilities tied to civilian services and commercial activity.
These attacks come within the broader context of intensifying U.S. aggression on Yemen, which the Sana’a government describes as direct support for the brutal Israeli assault on the Gaza Strip, involving acts of genocide and ethnic cleansing against the Palestinian people.
