Officially, the United States Declares Direct War on Sana’a and the Use of Lethal Force

In an official announcement revealing the extent of U.S. involvement in the aggression against Yemen, U.S. President Donald Trump declared the start of a direct war against Sana’a, vowing to launch a decisive and powerful military operation.

Trump made dangerous remarks confirming the U.S.’s declared intent to target Yemen, saying: “I tell the Houthis (Ansar Allah): Your time has come,” in a clear and public threat that signals a broad escalation aimed at the Yemeni people and their steadfast national forces.

He added: “I have ordered the launch of a decisive and powerful military operation against the Houthis, and we will use lethal force until we achieve our goal,” indicating the United States’ intent to carry out direct aggression against anyone opposed to the Israeli occupation of Jerusalem and Palestine.

In an unprecedented escalation, Trump stated: “The Houthis targeted our forces and our allies in the region, and no further attacks will be tolerated,” ignoring the fact that the Sana’a forces have repeatedly stated that their legitimate operations are in response to the aggression on Gaza and in support of the Palestinian people.

Trump directly threatened: “We will use overwhelming lethal force against the Houthis until we achieve our goals,” a statement that clearly reveals Washington’s intent to target Yemeni civilians and bomb residential neighborhoods, as occurred earlier today in the Al-Jaraf neighborhood of Sana’a.

These remarks come at a time when Trump’s statements reveal the falsity of his previous claims about seeking peace in the Middle East, after he had previously announced plans to “spread peace” in the region, only to now renege on those promises and declare direct war on Yemen.

These statements follow just hours after U.S. aircraft committed a horrific massacre in Sana’a, resulting in 8 martyrs, including women, and 6 injured, including 3 women, in a crime added to the United States’ bloody record in Yemen and Palestine.

Observers believe that these U.S. threats represent a clear declaration of war on the Yemeni people, who will not stand idly by in the face of this aggression, especially with the rising official and popular calls in Sana’a to respond decisively to any American or Israeli escalation.
