Abdul-Malik al-Houthi, leader of the Houthi (Ansar Allah) group, reaffirmed the continuation of Yemeni military operations in support of Gaza, carried out by the Sana’a government forces since the beginning of the “Al-Aqsa Flood” battle. He announced that these operations have successfully prevented Israel from navigating the Red Sea and the Arabian Sea, and highlighted the development of advanced military capabilities, including the “Palestine 2” missile and the “Yafa” drone, which targets deep into the Israeli occupation. He emphasized ongoing efforts to enhance capabilities and improve the effectiveness of these operations.

In his televised speech marking the first anniversary of the “Al-Aqsa Flood” operation, al-Houthi stated that “the Yemeni support front has been active since the first day of the Al-Aqsa Flood battle, through serious and powerful operations.” He highlighted that “the most prominent outcome of these operations was preventing the Israeli enemy from navigating the Red Sea, Gulf of Aden, Bab al-Mandab Strait, and the Arabian Sea.”

He added that “Yemeni operations targeted the Israeli enemy inside occupied Palestine, as well as ships linked to it in the Indian Ocean, reaching the Mediterranean Sea.” Al-Houthi confirmed that the operations have entered their fifth phase, with the development of military capabilities, such as the production of the “Palestine 2” missile and the “Yafa” drone, which reach deep into the Israeli entity, specifically targeting Yafa (Tel Aviv).

Al-Houthi also emphasized that “efforts in Yemen continue to strengthen and develop capabilities, improve performance, and increase operations on a larger scale.” He noted that the popular reaction in Yemen has been unprecedented, with massive demonstrations and rallies throughout the year, unlike any other cause in Yemen’s history.

He reiterated Yemen’s “principled, humanitarian, and religious stance” in supporting the Palestinian people and fighters in Gaza and Palestine, as well as “our brothers in Lebanon, Hezbollah fighters, the Islamic Republic of Iran, our brothers in Iraq, and all the free people of the nation.”

Al-Houthi emphasized that “it is everyone’s responsibility to stand against the Israeli enemy, the enemy of the nation, supported only by criminals and those who violate the sanctities and blood.”

He added that “the Yemeni armed forces launched more than 1,000 missiles and drones this year, targeting 193 ships linked to the Israeli, American, and British enemies, and downed 11 American MQ-9 drones.” He confirmed that “our military front continues with the development of capabilities to confront the Israeli enemy.”

Al-Houthi continued: “We remain steadfast in our stance, which we consider a jihad in the path of God, upholding the banner of Islam, and we firmly and certainly believe that God’s promise of the destruction of the Israeli enemy will be fulfilled.”

Regarding the military aggression against Yemen, al-Houthi explained that “enemy air and naval bombardment reached 774 operations, resulting in the martyrdom of 82 people and the injury of 340 others.” He affirmed that “no matter the sacrifices, Yemen will not back down from its firm and principled stance.”

Al-Houthi emphasized: “We confront the enemies, strike their ships, warships, and aircraft carriers, and will not hesitate to continue these operations and do whatever we can.” He added that “the enemies are trying to pressure Yemen economically and humanitarily, but the Yemeni people remain resilient despite the hardships.”

Regarding the media war, al-Houthi stated that “the enemies continue their false propaganda campaigns, but the Yemeni people possess a high level of awareness and insight, unaffected by lies.”

Addressing Hamas, the al-Qassam Brigades, Islamic Jihad, and the al-Quds Brigades, al-Houthi said: “We stand by you, and our people are your supporters, ready to act with you in every way possible. When you call to commemorate the first anniversary of the Al-Aqsa Flood operation, the Yemeni people will take to the streets in massive demonstrations on Monday, responding to your call in an unprecedented scene worldwide.”

In his speech, Abdul-Malik al-Houthi affirmed that “the Al-Aqsa Flood operation was a necessary response to all the aggression, barbarity, and Israeli criminality against the Palestinian people, creating a shift in the course of the Palestinian cause.”

He explained that “this operation is part of the legitimate right of the Palestinian people to confront the occupying enemy, which has no legitimacy in its occupation, oppression, and crimes.”

Al-Houthi emphasized that “Al-Aqsa Flood is a heroic Palestinian action rooted in legitimate rights, a natural outcome of a criminal war on the Palestinian people in their land,” describing the operation as “a natural result of 105 years of occupation, land theft, killings, genocide, displacement, and assaults on holy sites.”

He added: “The scene of the October 7 operation is unforgettable for Israel, as it dealt a blow that shook Israeli arrogance.” He confirmed that “the Americans immediately responded to the operation, along with Britain and Western countries, to address the massive collapse and shock to the Israeli entity. The U.S. took the lead in supporting and participating in Israeli crimes.”

Al-Houthi noted that “the Al-Aqsa Flood operation brought the Palestinian cause back to the forefront of global attention, halting the normalization process led by those who call themselves ‘normalizers’ in support of Israel.”

He highlighted that “Israel’s allies did not just deviate from the path, but sought to bring others along the same path of betrayal and treason,” emphasizing that “these states distorted religious discourse to align with enemy interests.”

Al-Houthi affirmed that “the Al-Aqsa Flood restored the nation’s focus on jihad in the path of God and renewed confrontation with the enemy.”

The speech continued to outline the impact of the Al-Aqsa Flood on Israeli strategy, Palestinian resilience, and the broader geopolitical struggle involving Iran and other regional actors.
