One Condition Involves Yemen: U.S. President Reveals Saudi Arabia’s Terms for Full Recognition of Israel

NYN | News

U.S. President Joe Biden revealed that Saudi Arabia seeks to normalize relations with Israel in exchange for security guarantees from the United States to protect it from a neighboring country (Yemen) and the establishment of a “civilian nuclear facility” in the kingdom.

In an interview on the program “360 with Speedy” last week, which was aired yesterday, Monday, Biden said: “I received a phone call from the Saudis – they want full recognition of Israel.”

Biden explained that what the kingdom wants in exchange for normalizing relations with Israel is a guarantee that the United States will supply them with weapons “if they are attacked by other Arab countries (or) those in close proximity,” referring to Yemen.

The U.S. president added that Washington would also establish a civilian nuclear facility on Saudi territory, managed by the U.S. military, “so they can move away from fossil fuels.”

Biden described Saudi recognition of Israel as “a significant game-changer for the entire region.”
