Pakistani Ministry of Foreign Affairs: Pakistan and the Taliban regime in Afghanistan have agreed — at the request of the Taliban — to a temporary 48-hour ceasefire, starting at 6:00 PM today, as a prelude to talks aimed at resolving outstanding issues between the two sides.
