Sana’a forces announced on Tuesday morning the execution of a high-level military operation targeting Ben Gurion Airport (“Lod”) in the Tel Aviv (“Jaffa”) area, using a hypersonic ballistic missile named “Palestine 2,” confirming that the strike accurately hit its intended targets.
A statement issued by the military spokesperson in Sana’a, Brigadier General Yahya Saree, explained that the attack was carried out in response to the genocide committed by the Zionist entity against Palestinians in the Gaza Strip, and in support of the Palestinian people and their resistance fighters.
The statement indicated that the missile strike caused a paralysis of air traffic at the airport and widespread panic among the population. It affirmed that retaliatory operations would not cease unless the aggression against Gaza is halted and the blockade is lifted.
Sana’a forces reiterated their appreciation for the Yemeni people’s stance in support of the Palestinian cause and extended their salute to the Palestinian factions in Gaza and the West Bank for their steadfastness and resistance.
This operation comes as part of a series of maritime and aerial attacks announced by Sana’a in recent months, within the framework of an open battle against the Israeli entity until military operations in Gaza come to an end.
