The Euro-Med Human Rights Monitor revealed on Sunday a horrific crime committed by Israeli forces in northern Gaza.
The Monitor reported that dozens of starving civilians were lured to a humanitarian aid distribution point, only to be gunned down with live ammunition in what it described as one of the most gruesome episodes of systematic genocide.
According to the report, the massacre took place near the “Zikim” area, where Israeli forces halted aid trucks close to the position of their tanks and issued loudspeaker instructions to desperate civilians, saying:
“Raise your hands and walk past the tanks. Whoever wants flour, come forward.”
But as soon as the civilians began to move, soldiers opened fire directly on them, killing and wounding dozens. The Monitor described the incident as part of a brutal pattern of genocide that cannot be justified by any military necessity and reflects an unprecedented level of savagery.
The organization reiterated that Israel is using humanitarian aid as death traps—luring starving crowds to distribution points only to massacre them in cold blood, as part of a systematic campaign of deliberate killing, deprivation, and collective humiliation.
The report labeled this practice a fully-fledged act of premeditated murder, holding all complicit parties—chief among them the international community—legally and morally responsible for their continued disgraceful silence in the face of daily massacres against Palestinian civilians in Gaza.
