A roadside bomb exploded on Wednesday evening in Al-Wadi District, east of the city of Marib, resulting in the death of one person and the injury of another, who sustained moderate wounds.
The explosion targeted a car passing near the “Bin Maile” fuel station and caused panic among local residents.
Local sources reported that the explosive device had been planted near the station and detonated as the vehicle passed by, killing one of the passengers instantly. The injured individual was taken to the hospital to receive necessary medical treatment.
The incident has sparked widespread calls for enhanced security measures and for authorities to pursue those responsible for such attacks, which endanger civilians and undermine stability in the region.
