Sana’a forces announced today, Wednesday, that they carried out a “high-level military operation” targeting Ben Gurion Airport (“Lod”) in the occupied Tel Aviv–Jaffa area, as part of what they described as a “response to the genocide crimes committed against the Palestinian people in the Gaza Strip.”
In an official statement, Brigadier General Yahya Saree, the military spokesperson for Sana’a forces, said that the missile force launched a ballistic missile of the “Zulfiqar” type at Ben Gurion Airport (“Lod”), affirming that the operation successfully achieved its objective, leading—according to his words—to millions of Israelis fleeing to shelters and the airport’s operations coming to a halt.
In a related development, the statement noted that the drone air force carried out three operations using four drones. Two targeted a military site in the Negev region, while the other two targeted Ben Gurion Airport (“Lod”) and the Port of Eilat (“Umm Al-Rashrash”), confirming that all operations hit their intended targets successfully, “by the grace of God.”
The statement added that Sana’a forces would not cease fulfilling their “religious, moral, and humanitarian duty” in supporting the Palestinian people, warning that military operations are likely to expand unless the “aggression on Gaza” is halted and the blockade lifted.
Sana’a forces also reiterated their warning to all companies dealing with Israeli ports, asserting that “any ship arriving at the ports of occupied Palestine will be considered a legitimate target wherever it may be reached by the armed forces of Sana’a, regardless of its origin.”
The statement concluded with a message reaffirming the continuation of operations until the siege is lifted and the war on Gaza ends, stating that Gaza—through its resilience and the blood of its children and women—has exposed collaborators and brought down the false slogans of the world.
