The British Maritime Trade Operations (UKMTO) reported on Friday that the crude oil tanker “Delta Blue” had been subjected to four attacks within the last 24 hours off the coast of Yemen near the port of Mocha.
According to Reuters, the company managing the tanker stated that both the vessel and its crew are safe.
The ship’s captain reported on Thursday that two small boats launched a rocket-propelled grenade that exploded near the Liberia-flagged tanker, approximately 45 nautical miles south of the port of Mocha.
UKMTO added that each boat had four individuals on board and that another missile exploded near the tanker hours later.
