Revealing an Internal Plot to Target Sana’a

NYN | News

The Ministry of Interior in the Sana’a-based government issued a warning on Tuesday about what it described as hostile attempts to target the internal front and incite chaos, affirming its readiness to thwart such efforts.

In an official statement, the ministry said that the enemies are seeking to implement malicious schemes under deceptive slogans and banners, as an alternative strategy following the failure of the United States, the United Kingdom, and Israel to prevent the Yemeni people from continuing their support for the Palestinian cause.

The statement added that available intelligence and the statements of adversaries themselves reveal plans to exploit certain national occasions, turning them into platforms for sowing discord through funding local actors and mercenaries. However, these attempts, the ministry said, have previously failed due to “public awareness and citizens’ cooperation with security agencies.”

The Ministry of Interior indicated that similar efforts are expected to be repeated during the upcoming September 26th anniversary, stressing that no activities outside the official framework of national events will be permitted, and warning against “falling into the trap of aiding the enemy or engaging in treason.”

The statement concluded by affirming the ministry’s and security agencies’ full preparedness to foil any moves aimed at destabilizing security and stability, urging citizens to remain vigilant and report any suspicious activities that may threaten public order.
