A special source revealed to “Yemen Al-Jadeed News” on Saturday that foreign casualties were recorded for the first time as a result of U.S. airstrikes targeting the Ras Isa oil port in Al-Hodeidah Governorate on Friday.
The source confirmed that the American attack injured three foreign sailors of Russian nationality who were present at the port, noting that the American missiles mixed Russian and Yemeni blood in what he described as a bloody and horrifying scene.
This development follows the massacre carried out by U.S. aircraft on April 14, which resulted in the martyrdom of 80 civilians and the injury of more than 150 others, in addition to the near-total destruction of the vital port facilities — an attack that observers described as a blatant challenge to the international community and a flagrant violation of humanitarian law.
The injury of foreign nationals in the bombing highlights the extent of American disregard for civilian lives and places Washington under mounting international scrutiny regarding the legitimacy of its military operations and its escalation in the Red Sea and Yemen.
