The government in Sanaa has reaffirmed its unwavering support for the Palestinian people and their resistance, stressing that the Palestinian cause remains a central issue in Yemen’s stance on the matters of the Arab and Islamic nation.
The head of the Supreme Political Council in Sanaa, Mahdi Al-Mashat, stated today that the “Al-Aqsa Flood” operation represents a legitimate response to decades of killing, displacement, and crimes committed by the Israeli entity against the Palestinians. He emphasized that the operation marked a strategic turning point in the course of the Arab-Israeli conflict.
Al-Mashat added that October 7 was a historic moment in which the Palestinian people reclaimed their dignity and shattered the myth of the “invincible army,” exposing the weakness of Israel’s military and intelligence apparatus.
He stressed that confronting the Israeli entity is not a choice but a duty to reclaim rights. He praised what he described as the “heroic legend” written by the Palestinians over the past two years through their resilience and resistance, despite the machinery of extermination and siege.
Al-Mashat reaffirmed that Yemen will continue its principled support for the Palestinian people until the aggression ends, the siege is lifted, and all legitimate rights are attained. He saluted the Palestinian people, who, as he put it, are creating a “miracle of steadfastness in the face of starvation and extermination.”
The head of the Supreme Political Council also held the United States directly responsible for genocide crimes through its unlimited support for the Israeli entity, asserting that the Zionist project aims to erase Arab and Islamic identity and is targeting Lebanon and Syria as part of the ongoing aggression in the region.
