Israeli media reported just moments ago that sirens have sounded in the city of Tel Aviv, in the heart of occupied Palestine, as explosions were heard throughout the city.
The Israeli occupation army confirmed that the sirens were triggered by the launch of a missile from Yemen targeting Tel Aviv, and the air defense system was activated to intercept the missile.
According to the Israeli Army Radio, over 2 million settlers rushed to shelters after the missile reached central “Israel.” Israeli media also reported that operations at Ben Gurion Airport were halted following the missile attack.
The media further noted the sounds of massive explosions in Tel Aviv, as settlers sought refuge in shelters following the blaring of sirens.
Israeli media also published footage capturing the moment the Yemeni ballistic missile reached the skies over the city, as air defenses attempted to intercept it.
In this context, the military spokesperson for the Sana’a government forces, Brigadier General Yahya Saree, announced an “important statement from the Yemeni Armed Forces shortly.”
