Sanaa forces carried out a qualitative military operation today targeting Ben Gurion Airport (Lod) in the Tel Aviv area (Jaffa) with a “Zolfaghar” ballistic missile, as part of ongoing support operations for the Palestinian people’s battle against the escalating Israeli aggression on the Gaza Strip.
The Sanaa forces confirmed that the missile strike hit its target accurately, triggering a widespread state of alert. Sirens sounded in over 300 towns and cities across the Israeli entity, causing mass panic that drove millions into shelters, alongside a temporary suspension of air traffic at the airport.
In an official statement, the Sanaa forces stated that the operation was conducted “in support of the oppressed Palestinian people and its resistance fighters, and in rejection of the genocide being committed by the Israeli entity in the Gaza Strip.” The statement affirmed that military operations will continue to escalate until the aggression stops and the siege on Gaza is lifted.
The statement emphasized that Sanaa forces are continuing to develop their missile and military capabilities to enhance their effectiveness in this battle, adding that they are working to expand the range of vital and military targets inside Israeli territory, while also maintaining the naval blockade on Israel.
This strategic strike comes amid an escalation in Sanaa’s operations against Israeli aggression — by land, sea, and air — with repeated assurances from the Sanaa leadership that any Israeli escalation against Gaza will be met with even greater escalation deep inside Israel.
