The Sanaa government forces announced on Thursday evening that they carried out two military operations in the Red Sea and the Gulf of Aden, targeting two ships belonging to companies dealing with the Israeli occupation.
In a televised statement, Brigadier General Yahya Saree, the official spokesperson for the Sanaa government forces, said, “The Yemeni Armed Forces conducted two military operations. The first operation targeted the oil tanker *SOUNION*, owned by a company that collaborates with the Israeli enemy and has violated the ban on entering ports in occupied Palestine. The ship was hit with precise and direct strikes while sailing in the Red Sea and is now at risk of sinking.”
Saree added, “The other operation targeted the vessel *Sw North Wind I*, also owned by a company dealing with the Israeli enemy, which violated the ban on entering ports in occupied Palestine. It was accurately struck while sailing in the Gulf of Aden and the Red Sea.”
Saree noted that “the operations were carried out by the naval forces, the drone air force, and the missile force, using several warboats, ballistic and cruise missiles, and drones.”
Brigadier General Saree affirmed that “the Yemeni Armed Forces will continue to impose a naval blockade on the Israeli enemy and target all ships connected to it or owned by companies dealing with it, within the declared military operations zone as stated in previous announcements.”
He concluded the statement by saying, “The Yemeni Armed Forces’ operations will not cease until the aggression is stopped and the blockade on our brothers in Gaza is lifted.”
