A member of the political bureau of the Houthi movement (Ansar Allah), Mohammed al-Bukhaiti, made a clear statement today, declaring that Yemen will support Egypt and Jordan with full strength and to the utmost extent, without any red lines, if they decide to defy American pressures.
The statement comes in a context that strengthens Sanaa’s regional position as a strategic ally to Arab countries facing Western policies.
Al-Bukhaiti affirmed that Yemen’s support for Egypt and Jordan will not be limited to diplomatic efforts, but will include all available means, suggesting the possibility of enhancing military or economic cooperation between the parties.
Al-Bukhaiti said in his statement: “If Egypt or Jordan decides to challenge America, Yemen will stand firmly by their side… there will be no red lines obstructing this support,” adding: “We are part of the battle for liberation from external domination, and partners in defending the sovereignty of Arab countries.”
In a related context, the British website “Middle East Eye” reported that Jordan will declare war on Israel if it attempts to implement plans to forcibly relocate Palestinians to its territory, indicating Arab concerns that Israel’s aggression on Gaza could be used as a pretext to alter the demographic makeup of the region.
A statement made by U.S. President Donald Trump about the necessity of relocating Gaza’s residents to other countries had sparked widespread condemnation both regionally and internationally.
Observers considered Trump’s remarks to be part of an attempt to liquidate the Palestinian cause by displacing Palestinian populations.
They confirmed that such statements leave no doubt about the existence of an Israeli-American conspiracy to implement plans for demographic change after the aggression on Gaza.
