On Friday evening, the Sana’a forces revealed the execution of a strategic military operation targeting Ben Gurion Airport (Lod) in Tel Aviv (occupied Jaffa), as part of an escalation of operations on the Yemeni support front in solidarity with the Palestinian people in the Gaza Strip.
In a military statement, the Sana’a forces said that their missile unit carried out a precise operation using a “Palestine-2” hypersonic ballistic missile, successfully striking the vital airport. The attack reportedly caused panic within the Israeli entity, prompting over four million Israelis to rush to shelters and resulting in the temporary suspension of airport operations.
The statement emphasized that this operation was in response to what it described as acts of genocide committed by the Israeli entity in Gaza, and affirmed that the Yemeni response will continue until the aggression ends and the blockade on the Strip is lifted.
Sana’a forces also stated they are closely monitoring hostile movements aimed at dismantling the support front, stressing their full preparedness to thwart any new plans just as they had previously, and reiterating that operations will persist as long as the siege and aggression on Gaza continue.
The statement concluded by reaffirming the unwavering stance of the Sana’a forces in support of the Palestinian cause and their readiness for all possible future scenarios.
