The political leadership in Sanaa praised what it described as a “major victory” achieved by the Islamic Republic of Iran in confronting the Israeli-American aggression, considering that Tehran had delivered a harsh lesson to its adversaries and proven its ability to protect its sovereignty and peaceful nuclear rights.
Mahdi Al-Mashat, President of the Supreme Political Council in Sanaa, sent an official congratulatory message this evening to the Iranian leadership and people. He noted that Iran had foiled hostile schemes and managed to preserve its sovereignty despite threats and a complex war, adding that the defeat of the Israeli entity was resounding—unlike anything seen since its implantation in the heart of the region.
Al-Mashat’s statements clarified that the Israeli-American aggression ended through regional mediation at the request of Washington itself—an indication, in his view, of the failure of the Western project aimed at imposing hegemony and granting the Zionist entity permanent military superiority in the region.
For his part, Mohammed Abdulsalam, head of Sanaa’s negotiating delegation, stated that Iran had bravely and capably waged a fierce 12-day war and made great sacrifices in defense of independence and freedom. He added that the daily, focused missile strikes against the Israeli entity will be recorded as chapters of pride, emphasizing that Iran was the first Islamic state to militarily respond to an entity armed with the West’s most advanced arsenal.
Abdulsalam stressed that the battle was not only against “Israel,” but also against the United States and its Western allies who participated directly or indirectly in the aggression.
He reaffirmed that Iran’s preservation of its nuclear rights and its stance on Palestine represents both a political and moral victory.
He added that the crimes committed by the Israeli entity against scientific and military personnel, as well as its attacks on facilities, would not spare it from failure. He praised what he described as Iran’s “heroic resistance,” which inspired hope in the peoples of the region and sent a message that “violating sovereignty no longer comes without a price.”
- The Yemeni positions concluded with a call for unity, affirming that protecting the sovereignty of the region’s states requires overcoming divisions and uniting in the face of an entity that Washington seeks to use as a heavy-handed tool to suppress any Arab or Islamic aspirations toward power and independence.
