The Specialized Criminal Court in Sana’a issued a judicial ruling today sentencing 17 defendants to death after convicting them on charges related to espionage for foreign parties, including Britain, the United States, and the Israeli entity.
In developments related to the case, the ruling also included prison sentences for other defendants, while the court acquitted two individuals involved in the case. The court confirmed that those convicted had submitted their appeals to the Court of Appeals immediately after the verdict was announced.
The ruling included the following names:

Abdulrahman Adel Dhamran
Dhaifallah Saleh Zoqom
Ali Ahmed Ahmed Al-Sayyani
Farouq Ali Hezam Al-Adhri
Basheer Ali Mahdi Saifan
Khaled Qassim Al-Saeedi
Nasser Ali Al-Shaibah (fugitive from justice)
Anas Ahmed Salman Al-Wasabi
Mujahid Mohammed Ali Rajeh
Ali Ali Ahmed Al-Samadi
Hamoud Hassan Hamoud Al-Suraihi
Majdi Mohammed Hassan Al-Abed
Nayef Yaseen Abdullah Al-Athwari
Basim Hussein Saleh Al-Habshi
Sinan Abdulaziz Ali Saleh Al-Washadhah
The court also sentenced the following individuals to imprisonment:
Huda Ali Nasser Al-Muzna’i — 10 years
Bakil Abdullah Al-Masawi — 3 years
And acquitted:
1. Elias Farouq Ali Rajeh Al-Adhri
2. Ali Ali Daghshar Mutahhar
