Sana’a Unleashes a Military Surprise as the U.S. Rushes to Deploy Defenses

NYN | News

Recent military developments in the region have pushed the United States to deploy new defensive reinforcements to its bases in the Gulf and Israel, reflecting growing American concern over Yemen’s expanding military capabilities.

American media outlets reported in the past few hours that the Pentagon has begun relocating advanced defense systems from its bases in Eastern Europe to positions in Gulf countries and occupied Palestinian cities. This move coincides with Yemen’s announcement of possessing new military technologies amid signs of a broadened retaliation campaign.

U.S. President Donald Trump confirmed the deployment of additional forces, including air defense assets, to the Middle East—marking the fourth such announcement since the U.S. campaign against Yemen began about a month ago.

This development comes in parallel with Sana’a forces executing “Operation Haifa,” described as the first of its kind, which is believed to have involved the use of a new missile—causing widespread alarm within U.S. military circles.

These latest American moves point to a state of confusion and growing anxiety, especially as near-daily attacks continue to target U.S. forces in the Arabian Sea and Red Sea, while Sana’a’s escalating responses signal a readiness to widen the scope of confrontation if the U.S. persists in its aggression against Yemen and Israel continues its assault on Gaza.
