Strict Instructions from Sana’a… and a Code That Allows No Mistakes

NYN | News

Sana’a continues to issue firm warnings regarding the enforcement of its sovereign decisions in the Red Sea, stressing that compliance is a fundamental condition for ensuring freedom of navigation and avoiding consequences.

On Tuesday evening, the head of the Supreme Political Council in Sana’a, Mahdi al-Mashat, declared that Yemen is committed to international freedom of navigation for all ships without exception—except those linked to the Israeli entity or supporting its aggression on the Gaza Strip.

Al-Mashat clarified that Sana’a does not target any party unrelated to Israel and revealed the establishment of a dedicated humanitarian operations center that coordinates with global shipping companies to ensure navigational safety and prevent unintended harm.

He also called on maritime companies to fully comply with the instructions issued by the armed forces affiliated with Sana’a, warning that failure to do so would place full responsibility for any consequences on the violating party.

In a clear warning, Al-Mashat urged companies to avoid any economic dealings involving Israeli assets, affirming that Sana’a’s forces will continue their qualitative and escalating operations until the blockade on Gaza is lifted and the aggression is halted, as he put it.
