NYN | News

The death toll continues to rise as U.S. airstrikes target residential areas and vital infrastructure.

In the capital, Sanaa, the number of casualties has increased after American warplanes struck an under-construction event hall in a residential neighborhood in the Thawrah district, north of the city. The attack sparked massive fires, which civil defense teams are currently working to extinguish.

The bombing resulted in the injury of seven women and two children, in addition to damaging several nearby homes, causing panic among civilians.

U.S. aircraft also carried out airstrikes on the outskirts of Saada, as well as targeting a sheep farm in Al-Hazm, the capital of Al-Jawf province, leading to significant material losses.

Meanwhile, in Al-Bayda province, the U.S. military escalated its operations by bombing the Al-Sawadiyah district, further worsening civilian suffering and threatening even more destruction of Yemen’s infrastructure.
