Sudden Yemeni Strikes Disrupt Air and Maritime Navigation in the Region

NYN | News

Sana’a imposed an aerial shutdown over Israeli airspace for more than half an hour.

This afternoon, the official spokesperson for Sana’a forces, Brigadier General Yahya Saree, announced that the missile forces had carried out a military operation targeting Ben Gurion Airport in the occupied Tel Aviv-Jaffa area with a Palestine-2 hypersonic ballistic missile. He confirmed that the operation accurately hit its target, causing air traffic to halt for over 30 minutes.

Saree stated that this operation was conducted in support of the Palestinian people and their resistance, emphasizing that Sana’a forces remain committed to backing the Palestinian cause and responding to Israeli aggression.

In a related development, Saree revealed that Sana’a forces had engaged in combat with the U.S. aircraft carrier USS Harry Truman and its accompanying warships in the Red Sea, using ballistic missiles and drones.

He confirmed that the clashes lasted several hours as part of a response to recent U.S. airstrikes on Yemen.

Saree declared, “The armed forces will continue to confront this brutal and criminal aggression and will respond to any military escalation with an appropriate escalation.”

The spokesperson also reiterated that military operations would persist to block Israeli navigation in the previously declared operational zone until the aggression ceases and the siege on Gaza is lifted.
