Saudi Arabia officially revealed today, Thursday, negotiations between the governments of Sana’a and Aden scheduled for next Sunday in Oman’s capital, Muscat. The talks aim to reach a comprehensive peace agreement and resolve humanitarian and economic issues.

Saudi Arabia’s official newspaper “Okaz” reported that “Yemeni attention will turn next Sunday to the Omani capital Muscat, which will host important humanitarian and economic negotiations between the conflicting parties in Yemen.”

The newspaper mentioned that the negotiations come after aligning perspectives under UN auspices, which it describes as “a breakthrough towards achieving the long-awaited permanent and comprehensive peace for Yemenis.”
