The leader of the Houthis (Ansar Allah), Abdul-Malik al-Houthi, affirmed that the U.S. aggression will not affect the stance of the Yemeni people or break their will. Instead, it will contribute to strengthening and further developing their military capabilities.
This statement came during a televised speech on Thursday evening in commemoration of “International Quds Day.” He emphasized that Yemeni forces will continue to support Gaza despite the U.S. escalation, stating: “It is impossible for the Americans to influence our stance. No matter how intense their aggression becomes, they will never succeed.”
Al-Houthi noted that Yemeni forces continue to counter U.S. aggression in the Red Sea by targeting American naval assets, forcing them to retreat to the far north of the Red Sea. He asserted that Washington’s announcement of deploying an additional aircraft carrier reflects its failure to achieve its objectives.
He also hinted at upcoming advancements in military capabilities, assuring that the coming days will witness further progress in this field.
Al-Houthi warned regional powers against being drawn into U.S. schemes, which he said are designed to exploit them in service of Israel.
Concluding his speech, he reaffirmed Yemen’s steadfast support for the Palestinian people and the struggle to liberate Palestine and its holy sites, particularly Al-Aqsa Mosque. He called on the Yemeni people to participate in mass demonstrations on Friday afternoon in the capital, Sanaa, and other provinces in commemoration of International Quds Day.
