Sana’a forces announced on Monday a new escalation in their military operations in support of Palestine, revealing the start of the fourth phase of the naval blockade imposed on the “Israeli entity.” This phase will involve targeting all ships belonging to any company that deals with Israeli ports, regardless of their nationality or geographic location.
In an official statement read by the military spokesperson, Sana’a forces said this escalation comes in response to what they described as a “genocidal war” in the Gaza Strip, which has resulted in thousands of Palestinian casualties under intense bombardment and a suffocating blockade, amid what they called “shameful” international silence.
The statement clarified that this phase of the blockade will target any ship associated with enemy ports, warning international companies against continuing commercial dealings with the “Israeli entity.” It emphasized that any such vessel could be targeted wherever Sana’a forces are able to reach.
Sana’a forces called on countries around the world to pressure Israel to end its aggression and lift the siege on Gaza, affirming that their military operations will cease once the Israeli attack stops and the blockade is lifted.
The statement concluded by stressing that this action stems from a “religious, moral, and humanitarian” stance and reflects Sana’a’s commitment to the Palestinian cause and the besieged people of Gaza.
