In a powerful speech filled with messages of loyalty and commitment to the resistance on Saturday, the leader of Ansar Allah, Abdul-Malik al-Houthi, declared that the martyr Hassan Nasrallah would remain alive in the hearts of the free people around the world, and in the collective memory of the nation for the unwavering path he established in the fields of jihad and resistance.
Al-Houthi stressed that the martyr Nasrallah was a historic and exceptional leader, gifted by God with remarkable qualities that enabled him to play a unique role. He noted that his efforts laid the foundation for a generation of fighters and expanded the sphere of awareness and sense of responsibility across the Islamic world and beyond.
He added that Nasrallah’s martyrdom did not diminish his impact, but rather strengthened the foundation he built through his struggle and steadfastness.
A Safeguard Against the (American-Israeli) Project
Al-Houthi described Hassan Nasrallah’s actions in confronting the Israeli enemy as a safeguard for the region. He said Nasrallah directly challenged the “New Middle East” project promoted by the Americans, pointing out that the 2006 victory in Lebanon brought that project crashing down under the feet of the mujahideen.
He emphasized that had the Arab nations understood the true value of the 2006 victory and supported it instead of conspiring against it, the historical outcomes would have been far more profound and beneficial for the entire region.
He added that Nasrallah was a source of terror for the Zionists for over four decades, implanting within their collective psyche the notion of defeat—after they had grown used to easy victories over Arab regimes.
Lasting Victories and Strategic Shifts
Al-Houthi revisited historic milestones, particularly the 2000 liberation, which he described as an unprecedented achievement in Arab history—forcing Israeli forces out of most of southern Lebanon. He highlighted that this victory came after a long series of Arab defeats and setbacks, and had a deep, lasting impact on both Arab and Islamic awareness.
He also emphasized that the 2006 victory was not a fleeting moment. Rather, it established a strategic deterrent that has protected Lebanon for more than 18 years from Israeli aggression, despite American efforts to destabilize the country through political and economic tools.
Eternal Words for Future Generations
Al-Houthi shared one of the martyr Hassan Nasrallah’s most profound pieces of advice, in which he said:
“We are never defeated. When we achieve victory, we win. And when we are martyred, we still win. We are on the verge of a great victory, and we must not be demoralized by the loss of a great leader. Instead, we must carry his blood, his banner, and his goals—and march forward with firm resolve and a passion to meet God.”
Al-Houthi noted that these timeless words encapsulate the strategic vision of the resistance and set a clear path for future generations to preserve the sacred blood and the monumental achievements made.
Confronting the American-Israeli Project
He reiterated that the American-Israeli project does not only target Hezbollah but the entire Muslim Ummah, without exception. He stressed that preserving historic achievements requires unity, awareness of responsibilities, and sustained popular support for the resistance.
Al-Houthi affirmed that Hezbollah does not stand alone on the battlefield. It is part of a larger resistance front that stretches from Yemen to Palestine, Lebanon, Syria, Iraq, and Iran. He renewed his commitment to continuing on the path carved by the martyrs under a sincere and resolute slogan:
“We remain true to the covenant.”
