U.S. fighter jets resumed a series of airstrikes on the Yemeni capital, Sanaa, this evening.
The strikes targeted the vicinity of Sanaa International Airport and customs facilities affiliated with it, according to local sources.
The sources reported that the airstrikes hit areas near residential neighborhoods, causing panic among civilians.
They also confirmed the sound of intensive warplane activity over Sanaa, signaling a continuation of the U.S. military escalation, which threatens to worsen the humanitarian crisis in a country already suffering from the world’s worst humanitarian disaster, according to the United Nations.
