The United Kingdom Maritime Trade Operations (UKMTO) reported on Tuesday that it received information about an incident 64 nautical miles northwest of Hodeidah, Yemen.
The UK authority stated that investigations into the incident are currently underway.
According to the report, the ship’s captain mentioned observing four impacts (explosions) near the vessel, confirming that all crew members are safe and that the ship is proceeding to its next designated port.
The UKMTO advised ships to navigate the area with caution and urged reporting of any suspicious activities.
