Air raid sirens sounded across Israel on Tuesday evening following the detection of a new missile launched from Yemen, according to Hebrew media reports.
This marks the fourth such alert within 24 hours—and the third since Tuesday morning—amid a surge in repeated Yemeni attacks on Israeli targets.
Since Tuesday evening, Sana’a forces have launched a series of strikes, targeting Ben Gurion and Ramon airports deep inside Israeli territory, shelling the port of Eilat in the south and the city of Ashdod in the north, in addition to striking a critical site in the capital, Tel Aviv.
These attacks were initially carried out using drones, followed by a renewed missile strike on Ben Gurion Airport early Wednesday morning using a hypersonic missile known as “Palestine 2.”
These operations come as part of the ongoing escalation by Sana’a forces against the Israeli entity, which they say will continue until the aggression ends and the blockade on Gaza is lifted.
