In sharp statements, the leader of the Houthi movement (Ansar Allah), Abdul-Malik al-Houthi, confirmed that the takfiri groups in Syria committed “genocide” with the support of the United States and Israel, pointing out that these groups are carrying out foreign agendas aimed at tearing apart the Syrian social fabric and distorting the image of Islam.

In a speech broadcast by the Houthi-affiliated Al-Masirah TV channel, al-Houthi described the situation in Syria as an American-Israeli engineering, noting that these groups document their crimes on video and boast about killing innocent people.

He added: The takfiris serve the enemies of the nation by turning the occupation into a so-called savior… pointing out that these groups avoid attacking Israel despite its invasion of parts of southern Syria.

Al-Houthi revealed a contradiction in the way takfiri groups deal with the Syrian components, saying: The Israeli protects the Druze in Suwayda, and the American arms the Kurds, while the rest of the Syrian people are left vulnerable… He described the Arab and international silence towards these crimes as a moral crime, holding Arab and Islamic governments responsible for complicity.

He also emphasized that Islam is innocent of their criminal actions, calling on the Arab peoples to learn lessons from the Syrian tragedy.
