The Government of Sana’a has strongly condemned the treacherous Israeli aggression that targeted the Iranian capital, Tehran, and several Iranian provinces in the early hours of Friday, describing it as a “blatant and unlawful act of aggression” that falls within the ongoing Zionist arrogance in the region, openly and directly supported by the United States.
In an official statement, the Government of Sana’a affirmed that this bloody attack is part of a systematic Western escalation led by the forces of global arrogance through their international instruments — foremost among them the so-called International Atomic Energy Agency — in an attempt to politically pave the way for a cowardly military assault on the Islamic Republic of Iran.
The statement noted that this campaign, combining economic sanctions with military strikes, represents yet another chapter in the ongoing efforts by Washington and Tel Aviv to suppress Iran’s role in supporting the resistance and to halt its principled and unwavering backing of the oppressed Palestinian people.
Sana’a added: “We are confident that the Islamic Republic, as we have always known it, will not back down from its historic stance in support of the causes of the Ummah, foremost among them the Palestinian cause. Its sacrifices will only further strengthen its commitment to the path of resistance and rejection of hegemony.”
The Government of Sana’a also extended its deepest condolences and sincere sympathies to the Iranian leadership and to the families of the martyrs who lost their lives in the aggression, expressing its confidence in the Islamic Republic’s ability to firmly respond to any violation of its sovereignty or threat to its security.
In conclusion, the statement held the Israeli occupation entity and its international partners — particularly the United States — fully responsible for the dangerous escalation in the region, affirming that those who ignite political and military fires will be the ones burned by them. “The era of unilateralism and arrogance is over. The will of the people is invincible, and the banner of resistance shall never fall.”
