The official spokesperson for the Sana’a forces, Yahya Saree, announced on Sunday evening that the Yemeni Air Force had carried out a large-scale military operation targeting Ramon Airport and Lod Airport, in addition to two military sites in the Negev and two strategic targets in Ashkelon and Ashdod.
Saree stated that the operation successfully achieved its objectives, emphasizing that Israeli and American air defense systems failed to detect several of the drones involved.
He further noted that Sana’a forces will continue to escalate their military operations and will not back down from supporting Gaza, regardless of the consequences, adding that Yemen is working on advancing its weapon capabilities to ensure greater effectiveness and impact.
Yahya Saree issued a stern warning to all aviation companies, declaring that airports within the occupied Palestinian territories are no longer safe and will be continuously targeted, urging airlines to avoid approaching or returning to them.
He added that the operation comes in response to what he described as acts of genocide and starvation committed by the Israeli enemy against Palestinians in Gaza, reaffirming Yemen’s ongoing support for the Palestinian cause until the blockade on the Gaza Strip is lifted.
