NYN | News

The National Center for Meteorology and Early Warning issued a warning on Wednesday about a sharp drop in temperatures expected in the coming hours. The center urged residents in mountainous areas to exercise caution and take necessary preventive measures, especially the elderly, children, and those working during late-night and early-morning hours, in addition to farmers.

According to the weather bulletin released by the center, the highlands of Lahij, Al-Dhalea, Al-Bayda, northern Ibb, Dhamar, Sana’a, Amran, and Saada are expected to experience relatively cold to cold weather, with minimum temperatures ranging between 3 and 8 degrees Celsius.

The center stressed the importance of preparing for these cold conditions, which may impact public health and agricultural crops, noting that this weather pattern is expected to persist over the next 24 hours.
