US-British Airstrike Targets Hodeidah Province in Yemen

On Monday, US and British aircraft targeted Hodeidah province in Yemen.

The Yemeni news agency “Saba,” affiliated with the Sana’a government, quoted a security source as saying that the US-British airstrike targeted Hodeidah International Airport.

Since the beginning of the year, the US-led coalition has been conducting airstrikes in Yemen in response to operations carried out by forces loyal to the Sana’a government against Israel and its vessels in the Red Sea, Gulf of Aden, and the Indian Ocean.

The Sana’a government forces claim that their operations are in response to “Israel’s aggression and blockade on Gaza.”
