Riyadh and Washington are moving towards deploying U.S. forces along the Saudi-Yemeni border, a step that could negatively impact peace negotiations between Sana’a and Riyadh.
According to Arabi21, the agreement includes the installation of Patriot missile systems and conducting training missions for Saudi forces in the border regions.
It is worth noting that the Saudi-Yemeni border has witnessed extensive battles over the past years between Sana’a government forces and the Saudi-led coalition forces.
