In a move considered a direct challenge to the Saudi-led coalition’s blockade on areas controlled by the Government of Construction and Change, Australian professor (Tim Anderson), a researcher and thinker known for his anti-American and anti-Zionist stances, arrived in Sanaa, as announced by journalist Abdullah Sabri on the X platform.
Sabri confirmed in a post that Anderson, who is one of the international voices supporting Palestinian resistance and has close ties with the Houthis, has a long history of critical writings directed at Western policies. One of his most notable works is the book “West Asia After Washington,” in which he analyzes the shifts in the international system in the region.
He added: “Professor Anderson is not just an academic; he is a fighter following the path of resistance, a cry against Zionist racism and modern colonialism, and a voice that highlights Yemen’s courage in facing aggression.”
Sources close to Professor Anderson pointed out that his mission in Sanaa will focus on documenting the impacts of coalition attacks and raising awareness of the truths being hidden behind walls of media silence.
