On Saturday evening, the forces of the Sana’a government announced a ballistic missile strike targeting Ben Gurion Airport in Tel Aviv during the arrival of Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu.

In a televised statement, the spokesperson for the Yemeni Armed Forces, Brigadier General Yahya Saree, confirmed that the operation was carried out using a “Palestine 2” ballistic missile in response to the Zionist enemy’s crimes in Gaza and Lebanon and as a show of solidarity with the Palestinian people.

Saree stated, “The missile forces of the Yemeni Armed Forces launched an attack on Jaffa Airport, known as ‘Ben Gurion’ by the Israelis, during the arrival of the criminal Benjamin Netanyahu.”

He emphasized that “the Yemeni Armed Forces, along with the honorable and free people of the nation, will continue responding to Israeli crimes and will not hesitate to escalate the situation, in line with the demands of the current phase and in defense of Gaza and Lebanon.”

He further stressed that “these operations will not cease until the aggression against Gaza and Lebanon ends.”

During the attack, sirens blared across the Greater Tel Aviv area, causing widespread panic among Israelis, with many rushing to shelters.

Israeli media confirmed that Ben Gurion Airport in Tel Aviv temporarily halted both departures and arrivals following the activation of warning systems, leading to a disruption in air traffic.

This strike comes a day after the Sana’a forces carried out two other operations targeting locations in Tel Aviv and Ashkelon in the heart of Israel, as well as a separate operation that targeted three U.S. destroyers in the Red Sea, which were en route to support Israel.
