The Foreign Ministry of the Sana’a government denied on Thursday the accuracy of reports published by Gulf media outlets regarding the resumption of negotiations.

According to Yemeni news agency SABA, which is affiliated with the Sana’a government, “A reliable source at the Foreign Ministry confirmed that the information reported by Al-Bayan newspaper and other media outlets about the resumption of negotiations is completely untrue.”

The source stated, “No such matter has been presented to us thus far, and the United Nations occasionally indicates that the Americans and the British cannot allow any agreement during this period due to Yemen’s supportive stance towards the oppressed Palestinian people in Gaza.”

He further added, “It has been confirmed to the United Nations that the agreed-upon map with the Saudi side has no relation to the events in Gaza, and the Americans and the British are not supposed to have any involvement in it. In any case, we are not concerned with the positions of the Americans and the British as we are in confrontation with them, as is well known.”
