Sana’a’s military responses against the Israeli entity and U.S. forces continue in an ongoing escalation that reflects Yemen’s firm stance toward the aggression on Gaza and Yemen.
On Friday, Sana’a forces announced the execution of a series of special operations targeting American and Israeli sites, confirming that the escalation comes as a response to the occupation’s crimes in Gaza and the U.S. airstrikes on Yemen.
Brigadier General Yahya Saree, spokesman for the Sana’a forces, delivered a military statement from Al-Sabeen Square amidst large crowds, revealing that a missile attack targeted the vicinity of Ben Gurion Airport in occupied Tel Aviv-Jaffa, using a “Dhulfiqar” ballistic missile. He emphasized that this strike is part of the legitimate response to the Israeli occupation’s crimes against civilians in the Gaza Strip.
Saree also announced the execution of a joint operation targeting the U.S. aircraft carriers “Truman” and “Vinson” and their accompanying warships in the Red Sea and the Arabian Sea, noting that this marks the first direct targeting of the “Vinson” carrier since its arrival in the region.
In the same context of escalation, the military spokesman reported the downing of a U.S. MQ-9 drone that was carrying out hostile missions over Sana’a province, warning that U.S. military reinforcements would only lead to further escalation and confrontation.
Brigadier General Saree stressed that Yemen remains steadfast in its position alongside the Palestinian cause, affirming that American strikes will not deter Sana’a from supporting the resistance, and that U.S. aircraft carriers will not achieve what four previous carriers failed to accomplish.
These developments come as U.S. bombings intensify on the capital Sana’a and several other provinces, in an attempt to contain operations that have placed Yemen at the forefront of military and popular support for the resistance.
