Yemeni Missiles Pierce the Skies of the Red Sea!

NYN | News

In an unprecedented escalation, the Yemeni Armed Forces affiliated with the Sana’a government launched a high-profile military operation targeting the U.S. aircraft carrier USS Harry S. Truman and its accompanying warships in the northern Red Sea. The operation came in response to a bloody U.S. assault that targeted residential neighborhoods and civilian infrastructure across several Yemeni provinces.

In an official statement, the Armed Forces confirmed that the attack was carried out using 18 ballistic and cruise missiles, along with drones, in a joint operation executed by the missile force, the drone air force, and the naval forces.

This high-caliber operation was a direct retaliation for the recent U.S. aggression against Yemen, which saw more than 47 airstrikes across various provinces, including Sana’a, Saada, Al-Bayda, Hajjah, Dhamar, Marib, and Al-Jawf. These strikes resulted in horrific massacres against unarmed civilians.

According to preliminary reports from the Ministry of Health in the Sana’a government, dozens of civilians were killed or wounded due to the intense American bombardment, with rescue operations ongoing and the death toll expected to rise.

The Yemeni Armed Forces stressed that this U.S. aggression would not go unanswered, vowing to target all American warships in both the Red Sea and the Arabian Sea in response to any further escalation. They also reaffirmed their commitment to enforcing a naval blockade on Israel and preventing its ships from passing through the declared operational zone until urgent humanitarian aid is delivered to Gaza.

The statement added that American attacks would only strengthen the Yemeni people’s resolve in resisting aggression and blockade, emphasizing that Yemen remains steadfast in defending its land and people, regardless of the challenges.

This dangerous development comes at a time when Yemen is facing a suffocating siege and continuous aggression, amid international silence regarding the crimes committed against civilians.
