America Destroys Yemen’s Energy Lifeline… The Spark of a Major War

NYN | News

The United States has escalated its military aggression on Yemen, targeting vital resources of the Yemeni people, in a blatant challenge to international will and national sovereignty principles.
In the Al-Hudaydah governorate, U.S. aircraft carried out four airstrikes on the Ras Issa oil port, one of Yemen’s key economic lifelines on its western coast, completely destroying it.
The U.S. Central Command claimed responsibility for the bombing, stating that the objective was to “deprive the Houthis of illegal revenue.”
However, the reality, as observed by local sources and analysts, points to a deliberate intention to destroy Yemen’s infrastructure and starve the Yemeni people by targeting fuel and food sources.
In the Sana’a governorate, U.S. aircraft carried out two airstrikes on the As-Sama area in the Arhab district, an escalation that signals the potential expansion of American aggression.
The Sa’dah governorate was not spared from this escalation, with several areas in the region witnessing successive airstrikes, although Washington has yet to announce any clear targets, continuing its destructive approach.
This escalation follows repeated international warnings about the worsening humanitarian crisis in Yemen, raising significant questions about the true objectives of the U.S. actions, and reinforcing accusations that Washington aims to break the will of the people and advance its agenda in the region through brute force.
The U.S. aggression against Yemen is no longer limited to rhetoric; it is now translated into missiles and airstrikes targeting an unarmed people striving to live with dignity on their own land.
