Ynet (Hebrew): Erosion of the Element of Surprise… Iran More Prepared After the 12-Day War

Zionist security assessments acknowledge growing intelligence challenges and rising fears over Iranian missiles and their destructive capabilities

The Hebrew website Ynet has acknowledged that the foremost challenge in dealing with Iran is no longer purely military, but primarily intelligence-related, amid what it described as Tehran’s learning from the 12-day war and its adaptation to previous modes of confrontation.

Iran Has Drawn Lessons… Surprise No Longer Guaranteed

The site quoted assessments by Zionist security and intelligence institutions stating that Iran has succeeded in extracting important lessons from the recent confrontation. This has led to the erosion of the element of surprise that had been relied upon in the opening stages of any potential clash, making penetration and intelligence breakthroughs far more complex and difficult.

Iranian Missiles at the Top of the Concern List

The report explained that one of the central issues in coordination between the United States and the occupation entity lies in strengthening air-defense systems to protect the Zionist entity and U.S. forces deployed in the region, amid growing concerns over Iranian missiles. These missiles, according to the Zionist assessment, demonstrated a high ability to reach their targets with precision and significant destructive power during the initial confrontation.

Ambiguous U.S. Coordination and Zionist Questions

The Hebrew site noted that the level of “Israel’s” involvement in the details of American preparations and readiness measures remains unclear, particularly at this stage in which Washington is seeking to exert maximum pressure on Iran, in an attempt to bolster its negotiating position in any upcoming round of talks with Tehran.
