The United States is experiencing growing concern over the potential collapse of Israel within days, as the confrontation with Iran enters its sixth day with no signs of de-escalation.
The Washington Post reported today that American officials expect the Israeli occupation to collapse within approximately 10 days.
These officials noted that the Israeli military is suffering from a severe shortage of interceptor missiles, projecting that their supply could be depleted within 10–12 days if Iran continues its daily barrage.
The U.S. sounded the alarm over the dire situation facing the Israeli military, which has been overwhelmed by the intensity of Iranian strikes—triggering escalating outrage in Tel Aviv.
Israeli Minister of National Security Itamar Ben Gvir admitted to a “mistake” in response to an activist who attempted to slap him, blaming him for “provoking Iran.”
In a video clip circulated by Israeli media, Ben Gvir acknowledged that his government did not realize the extent of Iran’s capabilities.
The confrontations between Ben Gvir and activists are part of an increasingly tense atmosphere in Israeli cities—widely covered by Hebrew-language media, which has devoted much of its content to discussing the consequences of the confrontation with Iran and the daily human and economic toll suffered by the occupation.
