The Israeli company CyberArk, which specializes in digital identity security and privileged access management, revealed that the Saudi market has become its leading area of growth in the Middle East, recording significant expansion in the period following the events referred to as “Al-Aqsa Flood.”

Saudi Arabia a “Key and Strategic Market” for the Company

In statements to ITP, Tom Lownds, the company’s regional director, said that the Kingdom has become a central market in CyberArk’s regional strategy. He noted that the company chose the Black Hat Middle East & Africa conference hosted in Riyadh to showcase its latest cybersecurity protection solutions.

40% of Regional Activity Based in the Kingdom

The Israeli official explained that CyberArk’s business volume in Saudi Arabia currently represents approximately 40% of the company’s total regional activity, noting that the firm is achieving annual growth rates of up to 25%. This, he said, reflects the increasing reliance of Saudi institutions on the company’s solutions and technologies to secure digital infrastructure.

Concerns Over Unprecedented Access to Sensitive Data

Observers believe these figures reflect an accelerating penetration of Israeli companies into Saudi Arabia’s cybersecurity sector. According to analysts, this could grant such firms advanced capabilities to access sensitive data, potentially going beyond the scope of “technical cooperation” to levels that may touch on intelligence coordination.

Security and Political Questions

Analysts also point out that granting Israeli companies—whose headquarters are located in technology and military hubs such as Beersheba—broad space in the Saudi market raises questions about the security implications of this expansion, particularly amid the continuation of Israeli military actions in Gaza, Lebanon, and Yemen.
