New Messages from Sana’a to Tel Aviv and Washington

The leader of the Ansar Allah movement, Abdul-Malik al-Houthi, delivered a speech today addressing recent developments in the Gaza Strip and the regional and international dynamics surrounding the conflict, as the second anniversary of the ongoing Israeli aggression against civilians approaches.

Al-Houthi stated that the Israeli entity continues its brutal attacks on Gaza, targeting civilians and infrastructure while enforcing a suffocating blockade that worsens the humanitarian crisis. He noted that the aggression is now focused on the heart of Gaza City itself.

He added that the escalation is not limited to Gaza but has extended to the West Bank and Jerusalem, where Israeli forces have intensified raids on Al-Aqsa Mosque and imposed new restrictions on residents. He also pointed to the ongoing annexation policies and attacks on Palestinian properties, particularly in the city of Hebron.

Al-Houthi emphasized the continued American support for Israel, stating that the United States provides political cover by using its veto power in the UN Security Council to block ceasefire resolutions and organizes visits by members of Congress to reaffirm their backing.

He highlighted that Israeli crimes have drawn widespread international condemnation, yet the aggression has continued unabated.

Regarding the Palestinian resistance, Al-Houthi praised the steadfastness of fighters in Gaza, including the Al-Qassam Brigades, Al-Quds Brigades, and other factions, which continue to carry out high-impact operations despite limited resources.

He noted that these operations include sniping, ambushes, targeting military vehicles, and launching offensives using locally made rockets, even as the occupation tries to conceal the true extent of their impact.

Al-Houthi strongly criticized complicit Arab regimes calling for the disarmament of the resistance, while the United States continues supplying Israel with advanced weaponry.

He affirmed that Palestinian resilience has produced tangible effects on the enemy, including an unprecedented reverse migration of Jews from the occupied territories and a severe shortage of Israeli troops—estimated at around 12,000—due to draft evasion and a surge in early retirements among officers.

In concluding his speech, Al-Houthi stressed the continuation of popular mobilization in Yemen, pointing to sustained activities at universities in Sana’a, Al-Hodeidah, Amran, Ibb, Al-Bayda, and other provinces. These include demonstrations, military parades, and the graduation of new military batches through training and qualification programs.

He added that last week’s mass mobilization in Yemen included 1,413 marches and demonstrations, affirming that Yemen’s position is grounded in the highest levels of responsibility, faith, morality, humanity, and religious conviction. He described it as a form of jihad in the path of God—one that is effective, impactful, and has yielded clear results on the ground.

Al-Houthi acknowledged that Yemen’s stance hasn’t entirely stopped the aggression against Palestine, but stressed that this does not diminish its importance nor excuse others from fulfilling their responsibilities if they are able to act. He pointed to the clear impact of Yemen’s actions on Israel, particularly regarding maritime navigation disruptions and battlefield losses, saying this has recognized strategic significance.

He emphasized that Yemen’s position aims to shape a new influential reality—one worthy of sacrifice for God’s sake. The alternative, he warned, is surrender and submission to the enemies. Al-Houthi concluded by affirming that Yemenis are free, honorable, and dignified, who have not bowed to American dictates or Israeli pressures, nor yielded to threats, but have instead chosen the path of dignity, resistance, and jihad in pursuit of divine satisfaction.

He ended his remarks by stating that others take positions that serve the enemy, devoting their lives, money, and efforts to those causes, while Yemenis remain steadfast in their national and faith-driven position.
